Maryland Hyperloop

TIME LEFT UNTIL THE RIDE!

The Maryland Hyperloop Metric Century is tailored for endurance cyclists who desire to challenge themselves. The Hyperloop is not a beginner’s ride, as it requires riders to be able to maintain a minimum average speed of 16 mph for the entire route. The route is 64+ miles in distance with over 3,500ft of elevation. The Ride historically has begun in the northern region of Prince George’s County working our way through neighborhoods and rolling hills into Anne Arundel and finally Baltimore Counties. We will reach the ride’s mid-point at the scenic Federal Hill Park, which overlooks the waterfront at Baltimore’s Inner Harbor. The return route is the reverse course. The Ride is supported by SAG with strategic rest stops. This will be a “must do” event, especially if you are training for Century Season coming in the fall.

Unified Cyclists (UC) have structured this event for riders to have an enjoyable time. Like the previous Hyperloops, we ask that you bring a warm heart and happy face. Continental breakfast will be served before the ride while riders are checking-in and registering. Snacks, water and Gatorade will be provided in the SAG vehicles during the ride while our famous cookout style lunch (yummy!!!) will be served at the finish of the ride. Musical entertainment will be on hand, so be sure you bring a lawn chair to relax and fellowship.
