What is Unified Cyclists
Unified Cyclists is a DMV group of great friends who are also avid cyclists. We put out a call for the cycling community to come together, in UNITY, to increase and enhance the FELLOWSHIP into the cycling community. With that call answered, we simply needed an EVENT to promote that VISION! Borrowing from the route of the popular and historical ‘Water to Water’ Ride, the Maryland Hyperloop Fellowship Tour was birthed.
Team Leadership
Michael Stewart
Mike is a native Washingtonian who is very active and simply loves to ride his bike. He has been cycling off and on since his college days, but more consistently since about 2008. When he is not shooting hoops or lifting weights, you might see him on his bike traversing any parts of the DMV area. Whether he rides slow, fast or medium, chances are, you will see a big smile on his face!
Anthony Terry
I love cycling. It all started with a challenge to do a 150 mile ride for Multiple Sclerosis (MS) in Florida in 2010. That was the spark that lit the cycling fire for me. This experience allowed me to see how important this sport could be to fostering relationships and good health within our community. The growth and relationships built in this sport positioned me to become one of the founding members of PHASE Cycling. I’ll continue to expand the reach of cycling, building relationships with younger generations. Getting them interested in the sport and advocating for rider safety while supporting other cycling clubs in the DMV area.

Augusto Macedo
Gus is a cycling enthusiast who enjoys nature and especially enjoys nature while cycling, exploring the world from a saddle. As an adult cyclist, he has been riding since the late 90s, first by exploring the many beautiful trails the DMV offers then graduating to the diverse terrain and roads of the DMV. Although Gus enjoys the many facets of cycling, he particularly enjoys endurance rides that are combined with the exploration of culture, education, history, and a dessert of adult beverage, which is primarily used to replenish used nutrients. Love to ride with you!
